Are you a programming whiz and tech guru? A master researcher? An eloquent blogger? And are you fascinated with economic development? Devoted to environmental conservation? A champion of transparency, good governance and strengthening civil society? Passionate about Cambodia’s socio-economic future? Do you want to make a difference?
If you answered “yes” to any of the above, then there is a place for you to learn and, perhaps, to become a part of the Open Development Cambodia team.
Open Development Cambodia (ODC) is an online hub compiling freely available data in a ‘one-stop shop’ to provide the public with up-to-date, accurate information about Cambodia and its economic and social development. Using an ‘open data’ approach, materials and information are available to all users for use and download. ODC hopes that the site and the data contained therein will facilitate research and communication between the public, private companies, civil society and governments.
In this presentation, the ODC Team will show you how to identify, locate, and use data on ODC website for your development related study, research, and work. The information on the ODC website will allow you to become a more informative citizen, and thus a more prepared job candidate in economics, business, environmental studies, development, land management, information technology, and more.
